- Implanted AgeToddler or PreschoolerHearing LossSince BirthImplantedRightMy younger daughter Reha was diagnosed with a hearing loss late at 20 months. We worked hard to get her the best access and therapy to integrate her into a mainstream school. I believe that a parent has the power to change the future of their child and the key to this power is in acceptance and hard work.
- Implanted AgeInfant or Young ToddlerHearing LossSince BirthImplantedBothI am a proud parent of a Bilaterally implanted extremely talkative little toddler! My son, Aarav recieved his first implant at 16 months in 2012 and his second bilateral implant in 2015. We have come a long way from being told that our little baby would never speak to now being told to ask him to stop talking !! Loving every moment of the journey.

I was a customer service agent spending 8 hours a day on phone and struggling until I retired in 2005. Still struggled with phone and noisy situations and could not hear all of what the minister said at church. I was implanted in the left ear in September of 2013 and my hearing got so much better I had the right ear implanted in April of 2015.
