Was I was nervous, Oh yes!!, i was thinking am I doing the right thing? would everything go well?.. The porter put my bed to the side of a young man with learning difficulties, he was also waiting for an operation. He was really scared & wanted to go home..

I was a customer service agent spending 8 hours a day on phone and struggling until I retired in 2005. Still struggled with phone and noisy situations and could not hear all of what the minister said at church. I was implanted in the left ear in September of 2013 and my hearing got so much better I had the right ear implanted in April of 2015.
