Mentor Information
My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
using it with the Aquacase (accessory) in water based situations such as swimming - this means I can hear my children in the pool!
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
use the Aqua case (water proof) accessory to hear my children in the swimming pool, sea, and water games. I am extremely pleased to be able to hear what they are saying / laughing about in a very watery environment! This is certainly a the best single advantage so far - an amazing fantastic experience!
I chose AB because
I was only given one option at the time. However I would still recommend it as AB are very progressive with design functions and quality of sounds.
I am a BEA Mentor because
I want to help others with their experiences.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
being available to answer questions about my experience.
