My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
That now I can enjoy various musical concerts (especially classical music) and enjoy my life to the fullest. As soon as I got implanted, I stopped lipreading & I am able to hear everyone. I can also differentiate between different voices & sounds. Further, I am also able to attend to telephone calls.
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
Enjoy my hearing journey to the fullest. I can independently attend various concerts, seminars, etc. This has also helped me to excel in my professional life. Thanks to AB!!
My favorite sound is
Every sound becomes your favorite when you have lost hearing suddenly & when you regain it after such a long span. However, I still love listening to classical music, chirping of the birds, sound of the river flowing and many more such sounds... Great Processor & great technology!!
I chose AB because
As I have mentioned, it has an excellent quality processor, and I salute to the technology. Also, I would like to thank the doctors who recommended AB. The service support from AB is also worth appreciating.
I am a BEA Mentor because
I have experienced what hearing loss is to the person who suffers from it. Hence I would like to share my experiences with such people who are eager to get implanted & also encourage those who are unaware of this technology. I would also like to make people ( who are normal) aware of the worth of a EAR & how they should take care of it. Because now a days people like enjoy loud musics especially during festivals, etc.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
It is true that everyone has a different history, but I would like what it has been for me, since everyone likes to listen to each others stories. I have met many people who were aware of the implant, but did not dare to get it done. But after seeing my progress they have at least had the courage that this device is like a miracle & it works. I would love to share my experiences whenever any CI patient / parent requires it.
