About Me

The day I realized that my hearing aids could no longer help me was the day I thought my life was over. My family and friends scrambled to try and learn sign language for my benefit, but the funny part here is: I don't know any sign language! After getting the CI, my life shot upwards to places I never dreamed of reaching without my hearing. Ever grateful to those who made it happen!

Mentor Information

My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
its ability to help me keep up with everyday life that is rich with sounds!
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
enjoy my blues and rock music. Use the phone normally and participate more in work meetings and conferences.
My favorite sound is
my wife singing, the brewing of the coffee and the wind blowing over the desert.
I chose AB because
of the cutting edge technology that is offered and constantly being upgraded.
I am a BEA Mentor because
when I met another mentor who encouraged me to go for the CI. I was inspired to also do the same for others who need a CI user to tell them how it really feels to be bionic!
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
letting them know how life is like being bionic.
