Hello everyone my name is Joseph but everyone calls me Joey I am 36 years old, I am currently attending college working towards my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, I am currently employed as a federal correctional officer and firefighter. I contacted spinal meningitis at 14 month which is the cause of my hearing loss. During my spare time I enjoy working around the house, hitting the gym, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, target shooting, traveling, going downtown, playing pool. Mentor Information

My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
The technology available.
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
Talk on the phone, communicate on the radio, listen to music, carry on conversations with other people.
My favorite sound is
I chose AB because
They offer better technology then the competitors.
I am a BEA Mentor because
I had a mentor myself and it is one of the best things available.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
Educating individuals about advance bionics, and answering whatever questions they may have about getting implanted.
