About Me
As I lost my hearing slowly, I began to pull away from life eventually becoming very isolated. Since getting my cochlear implants, I enjoy all aspects of my life fully and I’m pursuing activities that I used to only dream about.

Mentor Information
My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
The quality of the hearing, which far exceeds what my hearing aids provided for me in the last few years before qualifying for the cochlear implant.
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
Participate in life again like I could before I had to start wearing hearing aids.
My favorite sound is
songbirds!
I chose AB because
they have a progressive attitude and build room to reach for greater hearing success into their product.
I am a BEA Mentor because
being able to hear again is a gift and I just have to inform others that are experiencing hearing loss of the hope and possibilities.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
sharing my experiences of learning to hear with my CI.
