Mentor Information

My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
To able to hear whilst doing sports and also enjoy watersports with my Neptune/aquacase.
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
Hear people talking to me, enjoy music, and of course to enjoy life without staying in the silent world which actually affects my confidence.
My favorite sound is
My dogs, and hearing the atmosphere in football (soccer)
I chose AB because
There always some new software releases to help you hear better and I love the wearing options too.
I am a BEA Mentor because
Whilst going through my assessment I felt I was alone as there aren't as much support and UK related support as it now and also a chance to help others go through the journey that I have already experienced in. Plus it is an opportunity to help Advanced Bionics as they have helped me so much.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
I can support them with sport related issues. I can also lead them in any directions to help them reach the answers they are looking for. I can also direct them to any website/blog related to users' experiences. Supporting them through any Advanced Bionics social networks/groups and share any events where they are able to meet other users that has Advanced Bionics. There, they can share their experience, which helps them to feel less alone throughout their journey.
