About Me
Hi, I am Ita Carroll, i was 30 years fighting deafness, and then went profoundly deaf. My whole world fell apart. I was referred to the national CI in Dublin Who implanted the Advanced Bionic CI into each ear, which gave me my life back again. My friends call me the bionic woman. My objective now is to mentor other people on the same hearing journey, to help you hear again.

My favorite thing about my AB Cochlear implant is
It is top quality CI design to very clearly hear
With my AB cochlear implant, I can
hear my childrens voices again, i can hear on the phone, i was a registered therapist and was able to reregister
My favorite sound is
Hearing my childrens voices playing a few tunes with my dad.
I chose AB because
with my sight loss i wouldn't be able to use the other CI's because they are remote controled and AB is automaticaly set for you

I have been through the process and i am eager to help other canditates on there journey to the hearing world.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by
assuring them that proffesser Laura Viena is a gentle warm hearted surgon who cares for all her patients, she went out and fund raised for the first CI operation to prove to the Irish government that it works. She thinks very highly of BEA CI.
