In Oct 2007, I was sequentially bilaterally implanted with HiRes90K and Harmony processors. I was upgraded with Naida Q70 processors in Sept 2015. I am a mum to my three boys(19,11,9) and also a foster carer and a web designer. I enjoy walking with my dog. When I have time, I enjoy music and baking.

My loss was slowly progressive and I had even given up on hearing aids for almost 5 years when I got my first cochlear implant in August of 1997. I went bilateral in November of 2008 and couldn't believe the difference. Today I spend a great deal of time mentoring and advocating for others with hearing loss in my community and participate in multiple volunteer activities.
