Implanted AgeOlder AdultHearing LossRapidly ProgressiveImplantedLeftHi. I’ve had a journey with hearing loss over the past 10 years or so. Along with many of us on this journey I buried my head in the sand until one day I could not hear one of my grand sons, who wanted to tell me about his exciting day at school. This was my wake up call that I needed to do something or I would miss out on these and many other moments. In October of 2017 I was implanted with an AB Cochlear in my left ear and shortly after I received a Phonak hearing aid for my right ear.
